But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Quadros couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luiz Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Quadros in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Mônaco F. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodolfo Quadros was slow to take the kick. During this time Dobrada's players had a chance to rest. Sílvio Luiz Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Gernando Nunes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Mônaco F. C.'s Sílvio Luiz Godoi. In the 41stth minute of the game Rodolfo Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Mônaco F. C.'s Sílvio Luiz Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Real Mônaco F. C. booed when Dobrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Real Mônaco F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Quadros came free, but Sílvio Luiz Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Quadros made a kick off. If Henk De Hond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Mônaco F. C.'s zone, Wesley Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Godoi came out of the goal and Wesley Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Novaes in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Wesley Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk De Hond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dedê Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedê Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Real Mônaco F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Quadros came free, but Sílvio Luiz Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Giovanni Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Mônaco F. When the final whistle sounded Dobrada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Mônaco F. C..
