Spectators: 6020 (Terracing: 4800, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 20) After a rather tough play, I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Percival França got a free kick in the 4th minute. When I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Rafa Aparecido in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Butantã MZFC's goalie prevented a goal. Juarês Dantas came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Rafa Aparecido. But to his dismay, Rafa Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Aparecido in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Rafa Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Juninho Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Aparecido in the 24th minute of play forced Butantã MZFC's goalkeeper Juarês Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juninho Aparecido, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 26 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Elói Taffarel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Haroldo de Queirós's late challenge caught a I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub got a freekick which was hit by Mário Pereira. In the 41st minute of the match, Juninho Aparecido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elói Taffarel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elói Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino de Mendonça in the 46th minute. After the first half I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo de Queirós made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Butantã MZFC's goalkeeper Juarês Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Aparecido. Dariusz Burdzel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Butantã MZFC's Cláudio Messias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hílton Gerber, made in the 58th minute of the game. Rafa Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juarês Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Aparecido in the 63rd minute of play. Juarês Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beremundo Ochandiano in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Beremundo Ochandiano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Juarês Dantas, passed just outside the right post. Rafa Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Juarês Dantas made a huge save. Elói Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Aparecido in the 96th minute of play.
