Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aílton Mandrak took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Mandrak got free with Juarês Dantas in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Almir de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Gildo Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Butantã MZFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rude the free kick. Rude's Samuca Vergílio was substituted for Aílton Mandrak. The supporters of Rude booed when Butantã MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Raimundo Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rude fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Juninho Aparecido put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Almir de Senna. With an all-out effort, Rude's Juarês Dantas threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zé Roberto Domingues, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Rude's Samuca Vergílio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juarês Dantas. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. Almir de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo de Queirós in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Haroldo de Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Butantã MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 40 minutes into the match, Rude's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Aparecido came free, but Almir de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Miguel Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rude and the Butantã MZFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Butantã MZFC booed when Rude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Almir de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Butantã MZFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
