After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Amadeu Vidal made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, AC Milan's Amadeu Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daumantas Mažeika, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ermegildo Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Caetano Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Milan. In the 89th minute, Ermegildo Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Embu das Artes F.C's goalkeeper Caetano Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Vidal. Amadeu Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Milan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
