Dieguinho Cunha took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Bueno. Juvenal Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gotham City F.C.'s Juvenal Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Negri in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Gotham City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Queda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Gotham City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Severino Madureira lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Gotham City F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute, Fausto Negri made a precise shot to the right of Juvenal Bueno. Gotham City F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 22nd minute Fausto Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Velloso in the 26th minute of play forced Gotham City F.C.'s goalkeeper Juvenal Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Gotham City F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Negri came free, but Juvenal Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Fausto Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Gotham City F.C.'s Ramón de Alcântara got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Gotham City F.C. defense, Elano Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juvenal Bueno. The Gotham City F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Fausto Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal Bueno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Nóbrega made a kick off. Elano Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 52nd minute, Ediberto Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Bueno was a little too slow when Elano Velloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-6. Juvenal Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano Velloso in the 59th minute. Juvenal Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Negri in the 60th minute of the match. Dito Leite hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jairo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Nóbrega in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Tony Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gotham City F.C. the free kick. After 64 played minutes Queda got a freekick which was hit by Tony Cardoso. The audience was convinced that Tomé Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo de Almeida was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Juvenal Bueno made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fausto Negri sent off a good shot on target. Tomé Nóbrega took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo de Almeida. Jairo de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. A collision led to Gotham City F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cesinha Vianna hit a great ball. Juvenal Bueno was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fausto Negri. Juvenal Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Queda were awarded a corner. Fausto Negri went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Gotham City F.C. booed when Queda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesinha Vianna during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesinha Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ediberto Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Ramón de Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City F.C. and the Queda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Queda booed when Gotham City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano Velloso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Juvenal Bueno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Negri in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Elano Velloso notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Gotham City F.C.'s Juvenal Bueno. Juvenal Bueno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Queda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
