The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Roman Abesadze hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gotham City F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomé Nóbrega hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tomé Nóbrega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Poling, 1-0. Daniel Poling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Juvenal Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Diniz in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Moreno Cabeleira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Bueno. Gotham City F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moreno Cabeleira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute, Amauri Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Roman Abesadze shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juvenal Bueno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Corinthians FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Abel Toscano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Poling. Corinthians FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juvenal Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moreno Cabeleira in the 36th minute of the match. Gotham City F.C.'s Juvenal Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Abreu in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, José Maria Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Amauri Secco's late challenge caught a Corinthians FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Secco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when Gotham City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Osvaldinho Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesinha Vianna made a kick off. Michel Diniz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gotham City F.C.'s Juvenal Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Gotham City F.C. from getting a goal against them. When Amauri Secco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. Cesinha Vianna hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot 63 in the game by Michel Diniz from a close distance when the talented Juvenal Bueno managed to make a qualified save. Gotham City F.C.'s players were relieved. After 64 played minutes Corinthians FC got a freekick which was hit by Michel Diniz. 67 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Nóbrega came free, but Daniel Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ediberto Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Bueno made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Roman Abesadze sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Corinthians FC's José Maria Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juvenal Bueno. Juvenal Bueno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Tomé Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Poling having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Dedê Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomé Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Tomé Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gotham City F.C.'s Juvenal Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Gotham City F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes of play, Corinthians FC's Osvaldinho Abreu made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Gotham City F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corinthians FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
