The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Corinthians FC's Daniel Poling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Tinoco in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Goat Murders's goalkeeper Dênis Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Abreu. In the 7th match minute, Goat Murders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Moreno Cabeleira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Abreu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira. Dênis Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dênis Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Abreu in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Moreno Cabeleira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dênis Teixeira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Osvaldinho Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dênis Teixeira made a huge save. Dênis Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Diniz in the 31st minute. In the 33rd play minute Osvaldinho Abreu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dênis Teixeira. 3-0. In the 36th minute, Osvaldinho Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Goat Murders's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Michel Diniz scored to the left of an out of position Dênis Teixeira, making the score, 5-0. Dênis Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moreno Cabeleira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Moreno Cabeleira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dênis Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moreno Cabeleira to strike the kick off in the second half. Michel Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dênis Teixeira having to make a save. After 62 minutes of play, Corinthians FC's Osvaldinho Abreu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dênis Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Dênis Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Porto in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Simões came free, but Daniel Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dênis Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Abreu in the 77th minute of play. Dênis Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Diniz in the 84th minute of the match. Dênis Teixeira came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians FC's Michel Diniz. But to his dismay, Michel Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Dênis Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Fernandez in the 89th minute of the match. When Corinthians FC's Ulisses Fernandez, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians FC. Dênis Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldinho Abreu went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Fernandez in the 97th minute of play forced Goat Murders's goalkeeper Dênis Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Corinthians FC fully deserved thier win.
