After 3 minutes, Rodrigo Teles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inema and the Goat Murders players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Goat Murders booed when Inema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goat Murders's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Angelo Camargo scored to the left of an out of position Dênis Teixeira, making the score, 1-0. Thiago Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Teixeira having to interfere. Rodrigo Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Goat Murders from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Teles in the 19th minute of play forced Goat Murders's goalkeeper Dênis Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Inema getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Anselmo Vides hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Mandrak in the 27th minute of play forced Inema's goalkeeper Fred do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Vides struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dênis Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inema. Sidney Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. Dênis Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Manfredo Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goat Murders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Manfredo Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred do Valle having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Manfredo Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the game, Bruninho Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goat Murders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inema the free kick. After some careless play in the Goat Murders defense, Anselmo Vides kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dênis Teixeira. The Goat Murders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dênis Teixeira should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Inema's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Tinoco came free, but Fred do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred do Valle having to interfere. If Sidney Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Gabriel Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Maurício de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goat Murders's Sidney Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 minutes, Anselmo Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inema and the Goat Murders players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Inema got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Vides. If João Paulo Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dênis Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Teles in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rodrigo Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inema's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dênis Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfredo Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred do Valle having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inema fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goat Murders had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
