Dinei Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Guilherme Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Palmeira during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adalberto Palmeira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the last second Dinei Queiroz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rafinha Guedes in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Dragões de Tchó Tchó booed when Pacencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ciro Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Caetano Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Mangueira took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Amaral. Ciro Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Dragões de Tchó Tchó's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Guedes came free, but Dinei Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Caetano Loureiro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pacencia's Ciro Amaral. Ciro Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dinei Queiroz was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Rafinha Guedes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafinha Guedes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 47 minutes into the match, Pacencia's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Loureiro came free, but Ciro Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rafinha Guedes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Dragões de Tchó Tchó's Dinei Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Guedes in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rafinha Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pacencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafinha Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-3 became the score in the 60th minute when Rafinha Guedes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dinei Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Guedes in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões de Tchó Tchó's zone, Eliseu Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Queiroz came out of the goal and Eliseu Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Rafinha Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Rômulo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dragões de Tchó Tchó booed when Pacencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pacencia's goalkeeper Ciro Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sidnei da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Queiroz having to interfere. Ciro Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Rômulo Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dragões de Tchó Tchó eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
