In the 22nd minute Thiago Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SDR F.C's Geovani Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Mandrak in the 33rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SDR F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Goat Murders a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zé Pedro Arruda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SDR F.C's Geovani Moreno. 0-2. Geovani Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Goat Murders were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Arruda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Porto in the 57th minute of play forced SDR F.C's goalkeeper Geovani Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Goat Murders booed when SDR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovani Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Porto went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thiago Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Geovani Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SDR F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Manoel Vale hit a great ball. Goat Murders played a much better game than SDR F.C and deserved their victory. The SDR F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
