Geovani Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Brasil in the 13th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Aníbal Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Geovani Moreno. SDR F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. SDR F.C's Geovani Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Brasil in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SDR F.C's Manoel Vale got a free kick in the 28th minute. Geovani Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Alexandre Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SDR F.C booed when Tiki Tiki Uberaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Aníbal Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovani Moreno made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Aníbal Brasil sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the match, Aníbal Brasil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovani Moreno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After recieving a nice pass, Tiki Tiki Uberaba's David Sanches tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Guedes in the 89th minute of play forced SDR F.C's goalkeeper Geovani Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Tiki Tiki Uberaba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SDR F.C.
