After having played for 5 minutes, Sidney Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goat Murders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfredo Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Manfredo Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dênis Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cipriano Netto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Guilherme Saldanha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dênis Teixeira firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 27 minutes, Manfredo Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 30th minute Manfredo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pacencia fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Pacencia's Rafinha Guedes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Cipriano Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafinha Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dênis Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafinha Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Guilherme Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Teixeira having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Pacencia's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Mandrak came free, but Ciro Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Netto struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dênis Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacencia. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Rafinha Guedes made the kick off in the second half. Dênis Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafinha Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dênis Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafinha Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Guilherme Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Saldanha in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dênis Teixeira saved Goat Murders from getting behind. In the 65th minute Cipriano Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes, Guilherme Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacencia and the Goat Murders players grew even worse after the yellow card. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Guedes in the 73rd minute of play. Manfredo Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruninho Varela's late challenge caught a Pacencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruninho Varela helped the player get up and apologised. Bruninho Varela hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Goat Murders's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Saldanha in the 80th minute of play. Dênis Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Cipriano Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Pedro Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dênis Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Pacencia's Rafinha Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guilherme Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
