João Paulo Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that 温珂桑's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Amaral was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 14th match minute, Pacencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Netto to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, João Paulo Paraense notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pacencia's Ciro Amaral. The tension between the Clube de Regatas Bangs and the Pacencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clube de Regatas Bangs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
