In the 7th minute Guilherme Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ciro Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Guedes in the 15th minute of play forced SDR F.C's goalkeeper Geovani Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SDR F.C defense, Cipriano Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovani Moreno. The SDR F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovani Moreno should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Guilherme Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The SDR F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pacencia were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pacencia's zone, Inácio Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Amaral came out of the goal and Inácio Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SDR F.C were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Pacencia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emerson Lago took the corner. The corner led to SDR F.C's Manoel Vale getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 60th minute, Pacencia's Francisco Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 63 minutes into the game, SDR F.C's Inácio Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 68th minute, Manoel Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Saldanha came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovani Moreno could save by the left post. Geovani Moreno was a little too slow when Eliseu Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. 85 minutes into the game, Pacencia's Guilherme Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 88 minutes into the match, Rafinha Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovani Moreno. SDR F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 93rd minute, Guilherme Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Geovani Moreno. SDR F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. The SDR F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pacencia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
