Délio das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Pedro Luiz Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio da Silveira in the 40th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio da Silveira was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Mandrak in the 53rd minute of play forced Boot FC's goalkeeper Délio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Noroeste's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Vergílio came free, but Pedro Luiz Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Danilo Mandrak took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Délio das Neves to make any attempt to save it. Délio das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Márcio Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Pedro Luiz Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio da Silveira in the 81st minute of play. If Cássio da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
