After some careless play in the Boot FC defense, John Wick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Délio das Neves. The Boot FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Délio das Neves should have stopped the shot. Justin Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Tomás Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Thompson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cássio da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boot FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio da Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Thompson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ArabLionZ FC's Justin Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Vergílio in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes ArabLionZ FC got a freekick which was hit by John Wick. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cássio da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boot FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio da Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. ArabLionZ FC's Justin Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio da Silveira in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Tomás Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justin Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Enrique Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boot FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hernani Madureira hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the game's 43rd minute ArabLionZ FC's Doni Quintal took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Délio das Neves and thus the score was 2-1. Justin Thompson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio da Silveira was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ArabLionZ FC's zone, Cássio da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Thompson came out of the goal and Cássio da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Tomás Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Boot FC's Justin Thompson threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cássio da Silveira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Tomás Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Justin Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Délio das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Wick, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Justin Thompson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Vergílio in the 67th minute. With his leg Justin Thompson managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Boot FC's Tomás Vergílio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Justin Thompson made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Tomás Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. ArabLionZ FC's John Wick got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Thompson having to interfere. The supporters of Boot FC booed when ArabLionZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Wick didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by ArabLionZ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Francisco Fantini was slow to take the kick. During this time Boot FC's players had a chance to rest. Dedê Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ArabLionZ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boot FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
