Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maurício Miranda made the kick off and thus started the match. After 11 minutes of play, Tijucal FC's Fernando Cardoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luiz Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Danilo Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Noroeste's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Cardoso came free, but Pedro Luiz Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Esporte Clube Noroeste defense, Fernando Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Loyola. The Esporte Clube Noroeste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luiz Loyola should have stopped the shot. Márcio Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney Pernambucano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Tijucal FC. Carlos Fernando Pires stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Luiz Loyola. 0-3. Fernando Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pedro Luiz Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Esporte Clube Noroeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Fernando Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oséas Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Cabral to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Maurício Miranda notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Esporte Clube Noroeste's Pedro Luiz Loyola. Pedro Luiz Loyola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the game, Danilo Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Bahadır Serbülend was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bahadır Serbülend came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Noroeste's Márcio Cabral. But to his dismay, Márcio Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Oséas Berger struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Luiz Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tijucal FC. In the 70th minute, Maurício Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Tijucal FC's Maurício Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luiz Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Danilo Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Miranda got free with Pedro Luiz Loyola in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Maurício Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tijucal FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
