Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovanni Amaral kicked off to start the match. Márcio Cabral scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luiz Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luiz Sena came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Noroeste's Danilo Mandrak. But to his dismay, Danilo Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Danilo Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Esporte Clube Noroeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Mandrak couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Pejeu FC's zone, Márcio Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Sena came out of the goal and Márcio Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Danilo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Valdo Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pejeu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esporte Clube Noroeste the free kick. The supporters of Esporte Clube Noroeste booed when Pejeu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Esporte Clube Noroeste got a corner. Pejeu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sydney Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Danilo Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Sena having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Esporte Clube Noroeste's zone, Geovanni Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Loyola came out of the goal and Geovanni Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esporte Clube Noroeste's Pedro Luiz Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Noroeste from getting a goal against them. Álvaro Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Pedro Luiz Loyola made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márcio Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pejeu FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márcio Cabral. Pedro Luiz Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alfredão Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Loyola having to interfere. Márcio Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Geovanni Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play Pejeu FC's Valdo Pirani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Márcio Cabral struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Pedro Luiz Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube Noroeste. In the 92nd match minute, Pejeu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Noroeste's Márcio Cabral got a free kick in the 96th minute. Esporte Clube Noroeste's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
