An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Cunha in the 8th minute of play forced Pejeu FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Thompson having to interfere. After 11 played minutes, Pejeu FC's Alfredão Porto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justin Thompson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pejeu FC reached it. In the 12th minute Álvaro Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, ArabLionZ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Amaral came free, but Justin Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Thompson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovanni Amaral's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The wind increased when Geovanni Amaral made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Pejeu FC got a corner. ArabLionZ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luizão Camargo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Pejeu FC's Zé Carlos Teixeira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Waldir Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ArabLionZ FC's protests and gave Waldir Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Waldir Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match.
