Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Turvania AD's Edmundo Maciel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Durval Duarte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pejeu FC's Pedro Luiz Sena. Pedro Luiz Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Álvaro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Maciel made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Álvaro Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Turvania AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Alfredão Porto scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Maciel, making the score, 1-1. Edmundo Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Maciel in the 21st minute of play. Valdo Pirani hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Edmundo Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Sena having to interfere. Álvaro Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Leandro Maciel made a huge save. Alfredão Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leandro Maciel came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredão Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 30th minute. Zé Carlos Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vito Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turvania AD's protests and gave Vito Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pejeu FC booed when Turvania AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Amaral in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Gualter Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Pejeu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualter Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Turvania AD getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gualter Cordeiro hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Turvania AD defense, Valdo Pirani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Maciel. The Turvania AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Maciel should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, Edmundo Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Porto during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Turvania AD getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gualter Cordeiro hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Maciel in the 60th minute of the match. Leandro Maciel came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Pejeu FC's Álvaro Garcia. But to his dismay, Álvaro Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When José Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turvania AD's protests and gave José Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes, Pejeu FC's Luizão Camargo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leandro Maciel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pejeu FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Maciel in the 73rd minute of play forced Pejeu FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pejeu FC booed when Turvania AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a good free kick, Edmundo Maciel got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Pejeu FC. If Valdo Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luiz Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Maciel's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Edmundo Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualter Cordeiro was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pejeu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Turvania AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
