Boot FC's Délio das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Moreira in the 4th minute of play. Rubens Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Délio das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubens Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. If Murilo Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murilo Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio das Neves having to interfere. When Belmiro Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ponte de Safena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Dracena couldn't finish the play. Délio das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Amorim in the 16th minute of the match. Délio das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmiro Dracena's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The supporters of Boot FC booed when Ponte de Safena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Dracena in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Délio das Neves saved Boot FC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Boot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Amorim came free, but Délio das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Murilo Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Boot FC's zone, Murilo Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Délio das Neves came out of the goal and Murilo Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Délio das Neves made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Murilo Amorim sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Amorim got free with Délio das Neves in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Belmiro Dracena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Délio das Neves. The goal made the score 0-2. Boot FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Pedro Luís Moreira scored to the left of an out of position Délio das Neves, making the score, 0-3. Augusto Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Délio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Rubens Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte de Safena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belmiro Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Augusto Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Pedro Luís Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte de Safena's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Délio das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Boot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Marinho came free, but Délio das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Délio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Dedê Custódio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boot FC and the Ponte de Safena players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Boot FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Dedê Custódio hit a great ball. If Pedro Luís Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ponte de Safena's Belmiro Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ponte de Safena left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boot FC.
