Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Hamílton Cardoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamim Souza in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Cardoso saved Invernada from getting behind. After 5 minutes, Luiz Fernando Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invernada and the Tadalinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes, Tadalinha FC's Elder de Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamílton Cardoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tadalinha FC reached it. 8 minutes into the game, Invernada's Luiz Gustavo Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didi Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benjamim Souza had several of the Invernada's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Hamílton Cardoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tadalinha FC's Didi Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Borges in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Cardoso was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Tadalinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Vides came free, but Didi Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamílton Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Souza in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Luiz Gustavo Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tadalinha FC's Didi Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamim Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hamílton Cardoso made a huge save. After having played for 42 minutes, Albertinho Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tadalinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tadalinha FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elder de Andrade hit a great ball.

Tadalinha FC's Didi Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Vides in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Júlio Vides took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Didi Tavares to make any attempt to save it. Didi Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Benjamim Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamílton Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamim Souza's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Souza in the 76th minute of play forced Invernada's goalkeeper Hamílton Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Benjamim Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Invernada booed when Tadalinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamílton Cardoso came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Tadalinha FC's Albertinho Vaz. But to his dismay, Albertinho Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Chants of Invernada echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Tadalinha FC had held the ball for most of the match.
