A beautiful save bye Pejeu FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Vânderson Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tadalinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vânderson Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Tadalinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Amaral came free, but Didi Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tadalinha FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Percival Domingues hit a great ball. Didi Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Geovanni Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Didi Tavares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geovanni Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Tavares having to make a save. Geovanni Amaral took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Tavares. Didi Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Carlos Teixeira during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanni Amaral in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Álvaro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Álvaro Garcia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedro Luiz Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamim Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luiz Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Geovanni Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Pejeu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Souza came free, but Pedro Luiz Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamim Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Carlos Teixeira got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zé Carlos Teixeira hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Benjamim Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Sena came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Tadalinha FC's Albertinho Vaz. But to his dismay, Albertinho Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Álvaro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Tavares having to interfere. The Tadalinha FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pejeu FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
