Pedro Luiz Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Abad in the 27th minute of play. Wiliam Vinhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Cabral went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th match minute, Espiãs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Prata to maneuver through the defense. David Abad's late challenge caught a Esporte Clube Noroeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Abad helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Espiãs got a freekick which was hit by David Abad. In the 39th minute David Severijnse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, David Severijnse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luiz Loyola. Esporte Clube Noroeste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Severijnse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 54 played minutes Esporte Clube Noroeste got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Cabral. If Danilo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Coelho took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiliam Vinhas. Wiliam Vinhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A collision led to Espiãs getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diego Prestes hit a great ball. David Severijnse struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Luiz Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espiãs. David Severijnse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Severijnse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Loyola having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Espiãs's David Abad got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 94th minute David Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Esporte Clube Noroeste's Pedro Luiz Loyola got control of the ball when David Abad tried to sneak it across the goal line.
