Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Igor Maruda made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the game, Aldo Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itonia AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Confusao the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Itonia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Alfredinho Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Confusao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Oséias de Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elano de Lima. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 12th minute Miguel Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Itonia AD's Elano de Lima got control of the ball when Alfredinho Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Miguel Medeiros notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Confusao's Valdomiro Mendes. Valdomiro Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucjan Bronder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Mendes having to interfere. Valdomiro Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Igor Maruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Jean Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Maruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Igor Maruda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. With an all-out effort, Confusao's Elano de Lima threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean Neto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 47 minutes into the match, Itonia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Andrade came free, but Elano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Confusao got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Vasconcelos. 52 minutes into the game, Miguel Medeiros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdomiro Mendes. Miguel Medeiros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Igor Maruda took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Valdomiro Mendes to make any attempt to save it. Igor Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jean Neto came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Confusao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Neto couldn't finish the play. Alfredinho Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Bronder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Valdomiro Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Confusao got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Viana. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aldo Lima hit a great ball. Lucjan Bronder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdomiro Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Maruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias de Andrade in the 85th minute of play. Itonia AD's Aldo Lima got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Aldo Lima off the ground. After 87 played minutes Itonia AD got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Lima. Kléber Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kléber Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Confusao's Kléber Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Valdomiro Mendes was a little too slow when Igor Maruda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-6.
