Cleiton Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cleiton Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Clube Atlético Tubarão's Jerônimo Toscano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arlindo Dias. Arlindo Dias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Andrézinho Lago came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arlindo Dias could save by the left post. Cléberson Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayane Rodrigues having to interfere. Andrézinho Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Arlindo Dias made a huge save. Rayane Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jerônimo Toscano had several of the Palestra Itália's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Arlindo Dias as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arlindo Dias was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Joaquim Fernandes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Fernandes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 36th minute, Jeremias Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rayane Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Palestra Itália's Cléberson Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rayane Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cléberson Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Breno Paes made the kick off in the second half. Rayane Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Paes in the 54th minute of play. Breno Paes struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rayane Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra Itália. Clube Atlético Tubarão's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Breno Paes 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Armandinho Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Breno Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Paulo Tasso hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Breno Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rayane Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Iuri Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rayane Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rayane Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Garcia in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Tubarão's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Favoretto came free, but Rayane Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayane Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Favoretto in the 91st minute of the match. Arlindo Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palestra Itália's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
