An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Xavier in the 77th minute of play forced Everton FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri de Lima took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Arantes. Pedrinho Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 82 minutes into the match, Everton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Medeiros came free, but Pedrinho Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Artur Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Mota hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eduardo Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Phoenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Atlético Phoenix fully deserved thier win.
