Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Maruda started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Itonia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Donatello to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Itonia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Nunes came free, but Elano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Aldo Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Andrzejewski was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Igor Maruda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Igor Maruda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Itonia AD's Nando Coelho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edward Andrzejewski but with some difficulty. 20 minutes into the game, Aldo Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edward Andrzejewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Gerbasi A.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aldo Lima fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Miguel Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Andrzejewski having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Gerbasi A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Betão de Medeiros. Miguel Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Edward Andrzejewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itonia AD. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Lucjan Bronder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Igor Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Igor Maruda came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Itonia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Maruda couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Montenegro to make the kick off. When August Steinnes fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itonia AD's protests and gave August Steinnes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Itonia AD's August Steinnes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Gerbasi A.C.'s Humberto Pires dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Adriano Donatello hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Ricardinho Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerbasi A.C.'s protests and gave Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Gerbasi A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Itonia AD's Igor Maruda got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Gerbasi A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Bronder came free, but Edward Andrzejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Itonia AD's Igor Maruda in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gerbasi A.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Igor Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
