Kléber Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Juarês Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Neto in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Alfredinho Nunes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfredinho Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Juarês Marinho made a huge save. Alfredinho Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Juarês Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Artur Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaltino Xavier took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Mendes. Valdomiro Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Isaltino Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Juarês Marinho made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Paulista during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Clube Atlético Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Neto to make the kick off. Artur Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Nunes came free, but Juarês Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Marinho having to interfere. In the 57th minute Yuri de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes in the game, Isaltino Xavier dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Yuri de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Mendes having to interfere. Alfredinho Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Juarês Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléber Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Jean Neto made a precise shot to the right of Juarês Marinho. Clube Atlético Phoenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jean Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Marinho having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri de Lima in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdomiro Mendes saved Confusao from getting behind. Clube Atlético Phoenix succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Confusao had controlled the match.
