Luiz Eduardo Pinho was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Metropol's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Patrick Recife got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 9 minutes into the match. When %teams%'s Eusébio Paraíba was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 12 minutes into the game. Paulo José Martins was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 18 minutes of play, AC Metropol's Patrick Recife made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo José Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, AC Metropol's Eusébio Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo José Martins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Patrick Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Metropol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esporte Clube Noroeste's Paulo José Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Azevedo in the 28th minute of play. Jarbas Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Martins having to interfere. Paulo José Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. AC Metropol's Eusébio Paraíba was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Big Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paulo José Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Paraíba to make the kick off. AC Metropol's Mané Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Castro in the 57th minute of play. Paulo José Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Paraíba in the 58th minute of play. Jarbas Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Patrick Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Metropol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Paulo José Martins came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Metropol's Eusébio Paraíba. But to his dismay, Eusébio Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Paulo José Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Recife in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Paraíba in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo José Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AC Metropol's Jarbas Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Big Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo José Martins having to make a save. Jarbas Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo José Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarbas Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. AC Metropol's Jarbas Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Eusébio Paraíba put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo José Martins. After a rather tough play, AC Metropol's Big Machado got a free kick in the 89th minute. Paulo José Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, AC Metropol's Eusébio Paraíba made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo José Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
