Rocheira's Hernani Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Mendonça in the 29th minute of play. Amauri Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco de Amaral in the 31st minute of play. Fernandinho de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Amauri Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Fernandinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rocheira's Hernani Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandinho de Barros made a kick off. Amauri Munhoz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dráusio da Cunha. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Stathis Lolos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Lolos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amauri Munhoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco de Amaral in the 69th minute. João Francisco Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rocheira's goalkeeper Hernani Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Terra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's attentive Charles de Azevedo managed to snatch the ball when João Francisco Breckenfeld made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Rocheira were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AtLéTiCo GaLvAn to leave the ground with a draw.
