Amauri Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Carneiro in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Sá in the 33rd minute of play forced AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's goalkeeper Amauri Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Umberto Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amauri Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Carneiro in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Galaxy Team booed when AtLéTiCo GaLvAn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Armandinho Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amauri Munhoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Noel Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the AtLéTiCo GaLvAn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Noel Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Armandinho Sá struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Amauri Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaxy Team. Amauri Munhoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho Sá in the 80th minute. AtLéTiCo GaLvAn's Amauri Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Carneiro in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Róbson Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbson Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Lolos came free, but Benê Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galaxy Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
