Carlinhos de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Noroeste's goalkeeper Paulo José Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Zapater. In the 25th minute, Denílson Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Guto Cerezo in the 26th minute really tested Paulo José Martins's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos de Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo José Martins was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. RivotriL FC's Jorge Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carlinhos de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when João Adolfo Meira made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Carlinhos de Alcântara made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Esporte Clube Noroeste's Paulo José Martins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When RivotriL FC's Carlinhos de Alcântara in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th minute, Jorge Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Carlinhos de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esporte Clube Noroeste's Paulo José Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo José Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fabiano Severo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Paulo José Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RivotriL FC. Jorge Vieira's late challenge caught a Esporte Clube Noroeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Walmir Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esporte Clube Noroeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RivotriL FC the free kick. Walmir Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Carlinhos de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Paulo José Martins. Esporte Clube Noroeste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Carlinhos de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RivotriL FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
