Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natanael Arruda kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Hermínio Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Belmiro Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of F C Aion booed when Terra Média was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes Terra Média's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramón Tepedino who took care of the corner kick. F C Aion's Ramón Tepedino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Váldson Senna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in F C Aion's zone, Jerônimo Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Romero came out of the goal and Jerônimo Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerônimo Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terra Média's Váldson Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Arruda in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Ramos in the 29th minute of play forced Terra Média's goalkeeper Váldson Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Natanael Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Váldson Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natanael Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Natanael Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the F C Aion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natanael Arruda couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerônimo Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Natanael Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Váldson Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Cruz in the 58th minute of play forced F C Aion's goalkeeper Renato Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Godoi during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cacá Godoi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jerônimo Amorim's late challenge caught a F C Aion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerônimo Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Terra Média got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Amorim. 75 minutes into the match, F C Aion's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Amorim came free, but Renato Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natanael Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Váldson Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Váldson Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Arruda in the 91st minute of the match. Fred Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. F C Aion's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
