With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Mello in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Leite saved Timbuhy from getting behind. A collision led to SÓCANELA getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Germano Paraibano hit a great ball. Dedê Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benjamin Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Pereira's late challenge caught a Timbuhy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Eduardo Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SÓCANELA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Pereira hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, one of Timbuhy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Timbuhy. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 15th minute, where SÓCANELA:s Tadeu de Senna tricked Timbuhy:s Benjamin Leite with a difficult ball by the left post. Dedê Pinho succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Samuel Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Leite having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Rafael de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elder da Silva's late challenge caught a SÓCANELA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Timbuhy got a freekick which was hit by Elder da Silva. Rafael de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedê Pinho in the 44th minute. Rafael Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Benjamin Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Mello in the 47th minute of play.

After a defensive mix-up in SÓCANELA's zone, Rafael de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Mota came out of the goal and Rafael de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Timbuhy's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Pinho came free, but Benjamin Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael de Queiroz in the 61st minute of play. Rafael de Queiroz took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Mota. Rafael Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dedê Pinho struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Benjamin Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÓCANELA. Benjamin Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rafael Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timbuhy. In the 84th minute Samuel Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SÓCANELA booed when Timbuhy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rafael de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timbuhy's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Germano Paraibano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SÓCANELA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timbuhy the free kick. After 95 played minutes SÓCANELA got a freekick which was hit by Germano Paraibano.
