Caracituba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave luiz.sp the free kick. luiz.sp's Agnaldo Abraão was substituted for Fausto Veloso. A collision led to luiz.sp getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Flavinho Donatello hit a great ball. If Túlio Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, luiz.sp's Gwidon Pryputnicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugênio Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 25th minute, Romário Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Dimitri Hérouard. luiz.sp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dimitri Hérouard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Hermes in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Caracituba booed when luiz.sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Sanches in the 31st minute of play forced luiz.sp's goalkeeper Dimitri Hérouard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Dagoberto Couto made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Túlio Arruda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dimitri Hérouard. With a little luck, luiz.sp's Dimitri Hérouard got control of the ball when Túlio Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimitri Hérouard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Caracituba played a much better game than luiz.sp and deserved their victory. The luiz.sp players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
