João Baiano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Agrestina pe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Hermes came free, but Alfredinho Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugênio Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Agrestina pe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Hermes came free, but Alfredinho Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugênio Quirino was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Celsinho Diniz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celsinho Diniz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Claudinei Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinei Vander hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Severino Ferreira scored 3-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugênio Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celsinho Diniz got free with Eugênio Quirino in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caracituba's Túlio Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Romário Hermes made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Hermes in the 52nd minute of play forced Agrestina pe FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adhemar Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Adhemar Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugênio Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Diniz in the 59th minute of the match. Claudinei Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Ferreira took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugênio Quirino. Eugênio Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Túlio Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caracituba's goalkeeper Eugênio Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Agrestina pe FC's Claudinei Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugênio Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caracituba's Adhemar Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adhemar Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Mendes having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Agrestina pe FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caracituba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
