The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, SÓCANELA's Luís Eduardo Pereira got a free kick in the 9th minute. Hugo Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê Pinho scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Germano Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, SCCPHadez's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Paraibano came free, but Hugo Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Pinho took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Trigo. Hugo Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Germano Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SÓCANELA's protests and gave Germano Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, SÓCANELA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Humberto Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Humberto Vinhas made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SCCPHadez's Pedro Paulo Ortiz. Dedê Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Hugo Trigo made a huge save. Germano Paraibano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 43rd playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Paraibano in the 54th minute of the match. Dedê Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the SCCPHadez defense, Samuel Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Trigo. The SCCPHadez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Trigo should have stopped the shot. Pedro Paulo Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Mota having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, SCCPHadez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Germano Paraibano took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Trigo. Hugo Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 71st minute Germano Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Mota having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Doriva Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCCPHadez's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 minutes of play SÓCANELA's Germano Paraibano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Germano Paraibano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Dedê Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SÓCANELA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê Pinho couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SÓCANELA had played much better football throughout.
