Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredão Mendes made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kiko Valadares however managed to control. A collision led to Campestrinho SC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arthur Furtado hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, SÃO PAULO FC's goalkeeper Romário Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Furtado. Romário Brasil made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Luiz Fernando Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Romário Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Matorin in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the game Alfredão Mendes made a throw-in which Kiko Valadares played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luiz Fernando Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campestrinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Zarrella to make the kick off. Alfredão Mendes made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kiko Valadares however managed to control. Rogério Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Zarrella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Kiko Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Campestrinho SC's Arthur Furtado got a free kick in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kiko Valadares during the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Zarrella in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Dionísio saved Campestrinho SC from getting behind. Romário Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Matorin in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Fernando Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campestrinho SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The SÃO PAULO FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Campestrinho SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
