Rogério Dionísio came out of the goal and Lúcio Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Campestrinho SC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juvenal Gaúcho hit a great ball. The supporters of Navirai booed when Campestrinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldinho Valle struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Rogério Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navirai. Ronaldinho Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Dionísio having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Dida Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campestrinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Valle in the 19th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Ronaldinho Valle made the kick off in the second half. Rogério Dionísio was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otávio Luz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position.
