Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dennis Zarrella took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Osmar de Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romário Brasil. SÃO PAULO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osmar de Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 5th minute, one of SÃO PAULO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SÃO PAULO FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Navirai's Ronaldinho Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romário Brasil. That made the score 3-0 after 9 minutes of play. After 16 played minutes Navirai got a freekick which was hit by Matías de Amaral. When Genílson Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SÃO PAULO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson Barreto couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Ronaldinho Valle rounded SÃO PAULO FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Romário Brasil stood somewhat misplaced when Manuel Silva came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Manuel Silva sped through SÃO PAULO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romário Brasil. Manuel Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Romário Brasil made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Guimarães in the 44th minute of play forced SÃO PAULO FC's goalkeeper Romário Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Zarrella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Rosa having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldinho Valle was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Silva in the 53rd minute of play forced SÃO PAULO FC's goalkeeper Romário Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Romário Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Navirai's Osmar de Salles got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dennis Zarrella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kiko Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Rosa having to interfere. When Ronaldinho Valle came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Navirai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Valle couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Navirai got a freekick which was hit by Matías de Amaral. 69 minutes into the match, SÃO PAULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Guimarães came free, but Romário Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Osmar de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SÃO PAULO FC's zone, Otávio Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Brasil came out of the goal and Otávio Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Navirai got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Silva. In the 74th minute Ronaldinho Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SÃO PAULO FC's zone, Osmar de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Brasil came out of the goal and Osmar de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SÃO PAULO FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kiko Valadares hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Ronaldinho Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navirai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Ronaldinho Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Brasil came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Navirai's Manuel Silva. But to his dismay, Manuel Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Romário Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute of the game Manuel Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SÃO PAULO FC's Romário Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dennis Zarrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romário Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Guimarães in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that Navirai were the better team. Navirai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
