If Luís Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Albuquerque came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Felipe Dias could save by the left post. Felipe Dias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cesinha Jacinto. The supporters of MotoSerra FC booed when SKGRN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Paiva in the 14th minute of play forced SKGRN's goalkeeper Felipe Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Abel Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Murillo Simões. MotoSerra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Tostão Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SKGRN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in MotoSerra FC's zone, Tostão Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Simões came out of the goal and Tostão Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Cabral was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jonas Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Dias having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, SKGRN's goalkeeper Felipe Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Albuquerque. With a little luck, SKGRN's Felipe Dias got control of the ball when Luís Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Simões having to interfere. After the first half SKGRN were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tostão Marques made the kick off in the second half. Luís Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Guto do Vale. Murillo Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tostão Marques's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Tostão Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, MotoSerra FC's Murillo Simões got control of the ball when Abel Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tostão Marques's late challenge caught a MotoSerra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Marques helped the player get up and apologised. Luís Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SKGRN's Felipe Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Albuquerque in the 69th minute of play. Murillo Simões made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Abel Macedo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Macedo got free with Murillo Simões in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tostão Marques sped through MotoSerra FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murillo Simões. When Jonas Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the MotoSerra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Paiva couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jonas Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Dias was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Cesinha Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SKGRN's Tostão Marques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Murillo Simões. That made the score 0-4 after 97 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded SKGRN left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MotoSerra FC.
