The supporters of Bola FC booed when Gigabyte Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gerson Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Paulo Tróia made a huge save. In the 10th minute, João Pedro Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Benedito Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Tróia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gigabyte Futebol's Joel Teles got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Benjamin Carioca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fábio de Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Gilmar Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fábio de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Couto in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Wiliam Gonçalves rounded Bola FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 29th minute Laércio Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Emílio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Fábio de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Esteves in the 32nd minute of play. Joel Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Gerson Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedito Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Luís Fábio de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bola FC's Paulo Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Teles in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Teles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Toledo in the 52nd minute of play forced Bola FC's goalkeeper Paulo Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bola FC's Cacá Guerra got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Gigabyte Futebol's goalkeeper Luís Fábio de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilmar Dante. Paulo Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerson Tinoco during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerson Tinoco hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Joel Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Eurico Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Toledo in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Joel Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gigabyte Futebol's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gigabyte Futebol getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Joel Teles hit a great ball. Bola FC's Luisão de Lima shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Fábio de Souza but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Gigabyte Futebol's Luís Fábio de Souza got control of the ball when Gilmar Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Gigabyte Futebol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
