Gigabyte Futebol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Pauliceia's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Teles came free, but Giovani Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pauliceia booed when Gigabyte Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Gigabyte Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Netto. Pauliceia's Edmílson Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovani Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Gonçalves in the 28th minute of the match. Luís Fábio de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Soares in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Gigabyte Futebol getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vágner Goiano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Gigabyte Futebol defense, Lucas Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fábio de Souza. The Gigabyte Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fábio de Souza should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pauliceia booed when Gigabyte Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Brodel having to interfere. Eurico Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Giovani Brodel made a huge save. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Joel Teles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Giovani Brodel to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Teles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Teles in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovani Brodel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Soares took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio de Souza. Luís Fábio de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Giovani Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Teles in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Humberto Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Soares could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Luís Fábio de Souza however easily saved by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Pauliceia's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Toledo came free, but Giovani Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Teles scored 2-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovani Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Gigabyte Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Britto to maneuver through the defense. Pauliceia's Edmílson Arantes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gigabyte Futebol. After 84 played minutes Gigabyte Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Netto. In the 89th match minute, Pauliceia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Vale to maneuver through the defense. Giovani Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Teles in the 90th minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pauliceia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
