With a little luck, Doctor X's Luís Trigo got control of the ball when Hasan Hüseyin Alkım tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, S.E Paineira Branca's José Carlos Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raí Capixaba took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Trigo. Luís Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luís Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Raí Capixaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Luís Trigo made a huge save. In the 39th play minute Hasan Hüseyin Alkım came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Trigo. 2-0. With a little luck, Doctor X's Luís Trigo got control of the ball when Hasan Hüseyin Alkım tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hasan Hüseyin Alkım made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luiz Fernando Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Doctor X's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Capixaba came free, but Luís Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luiz Fernando Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, S.E Paineira Branca's Hasan Hüseyin Alkım nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Silvério Berger's late challenge caught a S.E Paineira Branca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Berger helped the player get up and apologised. Luís Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Capixaba in the 75th minute of play. Luís Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Hüseyin Alkım's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Raí Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E Paineira Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raí Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hasan Hüseyin Alkım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was beautiful to see S.E Paineira Branca's Nilson Saldanha in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Aníbal Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Doctor X fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Cearense couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes S.E Paineira Branca got a freekick which was hit by Raí Capixaba.
