After some careless play in the Doctor X defense, Benedito Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Trigo. The Doctor X fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Trigo should have stopped the shot. In the 7th match minute, Doctor X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Bola FC's Gilmar Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match, Gilmar Dante got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luís Trigo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luís Trigo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Laércio Couto sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Doctor X's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Esteves came free, but Luís Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bola FC's João Pedro Mendes got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th match minute, Doctor X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Gilmar Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bola FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. But to his dismay, Gilmar Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Doctor X's Guga Pitta got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Bola FC's Benedito Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltazar Schmidt was the one to do the kick off. Doctor X's Luís Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Dante in the 57th minute of play. Silvério Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Gilmar Dante made a precise shot to the right of Luís Trigo. Doctor X's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After having played for 63 minutes, Luiz Fernando Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doctor X's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Schmidt in the 65th minute of play forced Bola FC's goalkeeper Paulo Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bola FC booed when Doctor X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Benedito Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Trigo. Doctor X's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bola FC had played much better football throughout.
