When Guga Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doctor X's protests and gave Guga Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute of the match Charles Arantes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Trigo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Velasco in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Mineiros Esporte Clube's 胡瑜亦 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Mineiros Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 83rdth minute of the game Almir Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doctor X's Luís Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Siqueira in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's 胡瑜亦 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Gustavo Siqueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mineiros Esporte Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
