Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dalmo Godoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Robinho Araújo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Fábio de Souza, 1-0. Alfredão Pirani's late challenge caught a Gigabyte Futebol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. Gigabyte Futebol's Miguel Gaspar was substituted for Wiliam Gonçalves. After a rather tough play, Mandaguari SC's Alfredão Pirani got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Anderson do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Gigabyte Futebol booed when Mandaguari SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Gigabyte Futebol's Miguel Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Gigabyte Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gigabyte Futebol's zone, Tiaguinho Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio de Souza came out of the goal and Tiaguinho Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fábio de Souza came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Mandaguari SC's Robinho Araújo. But to his dismay, Robinho Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Gigabyte Futebol's Eurico Toledo in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mandaguari SC's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Tinoco in the 34th minute of play. Eurico Toledo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bernardo Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigabyte Futebol. After 36 minutes, Fabrício Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandaguari SC and the Gigabyte Futebol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabrício Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gigabyte Futebol's Miguel Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Gigabyte Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Teles was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomé Leme during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Mandaguari SC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Leme. Gerson Tinoco's late challenge caught a Mandaguari SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 66th minute, Ademar Teles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gigabyte Futebol's Luís Fábio de Souza didn't even have to move. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Eurico Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 73 minutes into the match, Gigabyte Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Almeida came free, but Luís Fábio de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fábio de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredão Pirani went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Mandaguari SC's Tiaguinho Almeida got a free kick in the 86th minute. Zé da Cunha hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Mandaguari SC's Dalmo Godoi in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gigabyte Futebol's goalie prevented a goal. Luís Fábio de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Almeida in the 96th minute of play. Mandaguari SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
