Vitinho Ramos started the match with the kick off. The Baile de Monique F.C™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Pimenta should have stopped the shot. Pauliceia's Giovani Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Paiva in the 9th minute of play. Giovani Brodel made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Betão Vargas sent off a good shot on target. Pauliceia's Giovani Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Pauliceia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Ramos in the 18th minute of play forced Baile de Monique F.C™'s goalkeeper Claudinei Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Lopes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giovani Brodel came out and tried to block the shot, but Acácio Lopes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. Giovani Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Rocha went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Giovani Brodel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Betão Vargas sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pauliceia fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Pauliceia's Vitinho Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claudinei Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Ramos in the 36th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Pauliceia's goalkeeper Giovani Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Rocha. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Paraense during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pauliceia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gustavo Paraense hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, Baile de Monique F.C™'s Felippe Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giovani Brodel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baile de Monique F.C™ reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Acácio Lopes made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Betão Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baile de Monique F.C™ and the Pauliceia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Baile de Monique F.C™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Vargas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitinho Ramos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei Pimenta saved Baile de Monique F.C™ from getting behind. 56 minutes into the game, Vitinho Ramos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudinei Pimenta. Vitinho Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Betão Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Giovani Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes Vitinho Ramos rounded Baile de Monique F.C™'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. In the 71st minute Acácio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitinho Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudinei Pimenta. That made the score 2-5 in the 73 minute of play. Vitinho Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Baile de Monique F.C™'s Betão Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Brodel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Humberto Vale lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, Humberto Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Renato Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovani Brodel skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute, Álvaro Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Lenílson Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Passos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match was over Pauliceia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Baile de Monique F.C™ throughout the match.
