In the 15th minute, Antônio Meirelles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calcoene fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Xie Ting Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Meirelles in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Antônio Meirelles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Xie Ting Sheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cacá Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Panait Lupșoiu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Virtus Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panait Lupșoiu couldn't finish the play. Dito Secco scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xie Ting Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio Meirelles took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xie Ting Sheng. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexsandro Siqueira to make the kick off. Maurinho Lago took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xie Ting Sheng. Xie Ting Sheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Xie Ting Sheng made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Maurinho Lago sent off a good shot on target. Dorival Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Lago got free with Xie Ting Sheng in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xie Ting Sheng was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Tales Guerra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tales Guerra really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Xie Ting Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Guerra in the 89th minute of play. Virtus Futebol Clube's Xie Ting Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Virtus Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Virtus Futebol Clube's Xie Ting Sheng got control of the ball when Dito Secco tried to sneak it across the goal line.
